- drinking water in reusable bottle - please ensure you keep yourself hydrated
- sun protection (long sleeved shirt, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
Clean Up Australia supporters will be provided with:
- gloves kindly donated by Clean Up Australia
- buckets that have been donated by the lovely owner of Patio@putney, 83 Charles St Putney
- pick up tools sponsored by the Environmental Levy Grant Program and Net Zero Communities, Ku-ring-gai Council
- activity guidelines.
Feel free to bring your 10 cents bottles if you would like to donate them to us for recycling and supporting this important environmental cause.
Come for as long as you want, they will be doing research on the kinds of rubbish left around.
Please come on time for the briefing at 9. We will clean the area as thoroughly as possible for about 1 hour. Come back to the meeting point to weigh the collected litter, then empty your buckets on the big tarpaulin that was kindly donated to the association by one of the lovely resident and we will sort and count the rubbish by category so that we can contribute to litter research. Data will be sent to Clean Up Australia.
